Between Christmas and New Year’s Day the Denver Zoo puts on a night-time light display. It most likely annoys the animals but it makes the zoo a ton of money which lets them build better enclosures which makes it less depressing to think of them in cages. Regardless, I went with my parents on their anniversary to see the lights.
