I like these two next to each other: the dark favelas with no connection to each other, only open doors, and the cathedral doors, wildly gilded, connected to each other and the doors shut fast.
These two as well – on the other end of the scale, les villes petites.
The sketchy lines, rendered in wire, create a depth that could exist in a drawing. The heaviness and volume are a language that only sculpture can attain.
